Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities and Duties (other duties as assigned)

* Comply with all AMG V policies, and procedures, safety and environmental requirements, and AMGs Code of Business Conduct

* Embrace and promote the AMG V culture in all day-to-day activities

* Ensure continuous operation of the Plant by routinely completing preventive maintenance checks on production equipment, machines, engines, motors, hydraulic valves/cylinders, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, etc.

* Troubleshoot and identify faulty machine and equipment through observation and testing metrics

* Remove, replace defective parts/equipment and restore operations to achieve maximum uptime and minimize production downtime; comply with all safety, environmental and code requirements when repairing equipment

* Source replacement parts in accordance with required specification

* Utilize machine/welding skills to fabricate repairs for non-routine/non-mechanical metal fatigue failures

* Follow scheduled maintenance work order system and participate in planning of required maintenance mechanical support during scheduled outages

* Work closely with Engineering and Production Departments as required

* Support preventative maintenance training of non-maintenance team members

* Understand roles and responsibilities in support of production teams operational goals and metrics

* Utilize principals of lean manufacturing, including 6S, to support operational and process improvements

* Perform other duties as may be required

* Assist with mechanical repairs and general maintenance support activities throughout plant as required

* Understand roles and responsibilities in support of operational metrics

* Work closely with Engineering and Production Departments as required

* Support preventative maintenance training of non-maintenance team members

* Utilize principals of lean manufacturing, including 6S, to support operational and process improvements Perform other duties as may be required
