Overview
Genesis Healthcare System seeks a dedicated
OB/GYN Laborist to join our team in Zanesville, OH—just 45 minutes from Columbus.
- Schedule: Avg. 156 hours/month (12/24/36-hour shift options)
- Facility: 260-bed hospital, Level 2 nursery, 1,500 births/year
- Team: 7 OBGYN physicians + NP/PA support
- Technology: Two Xi Da Vinci Robots
- Medical Staff: 300+ providers
- Manage labor, deliveries (vaginal & C-section), and obstetric emergencies
- Provide inpatient triage, OB/GYN consultations, and surgical interventions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients on prenatal/postpartum care and women's health
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold best practices
- MD/DO with OBGYN residency completion
- Board certified/eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Ohio medical license (or eligibility)
- Expertise in labor & delivery, gynecologic care, and surgical procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
