Position: Excellent OB-GYN Opportunity in Zanesville, Ohio-4 Day Schedule

The Genesis OB‑GYN team is seeking a new partner to join an established standard OBGYN practice in Zanesville, OH. The practice is continuing to expand and recruitment is due to the integration of an OB/GYN laborist model with our traditional practice. Planned upcoming retirements will allow you to fill your practice quickly.

  • Level 2 nursery - 24/7 in‑house Nationwide Children’s pediatricians
  • Av. 1,500 births per year
  • OBGYN Hospitalist team to compliment call

  • Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and preventative care to women, including routine gynecological exams, Pap smears, and breast exams.
  • Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions such as menstrual disorders, endometriosis, and pelvic inflammatory disease.
  • Perform prenatal care for pregnant women, including monitoring fetal development, managing high‑risk pregnancies, and addressing any pregnancy‑related concerns.
  • Conduct deliveries, both vaginal and cesarean, ensuring the safety and well‑being of both mother and baby.
  • Perform surgical procedures such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and tubal ligations as needed.
  • Educate patients about reproductive health, contraception options, and family planning.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records, including patient histories, examination results, and treatment plans.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through continuing medical education and professional development activities.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice, ensuring patient confidentiality and informed consent.
