As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Yuma, AZ
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will spend much of your shift driving between site areas, completing routine patrols, and staying highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and support access control when needed, while delivering helpful customer service and clear communication.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution or production location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including medical situations, alarms, and service calls, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and warehouse areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and policy concerns.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, checking identification and/or visitor logs, and directing drivers, vendors, and employees to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete reports such as activity logs, incident reports, and patrol observations, and use site systems to document findings and/or relay information to the appropriate personnel.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
