Join our veterinary team as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician and make a real difference in animal care every day. You'll work alongside our experienced DVMs to provide exceptional patient care while helping our hospital run smoothly and efficiently.

This position requires an active state credential:
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT).

• Clinical Performance: exams, diagnostic tests, and in-house lab work. Assist in surgery, monitor anesthesia, and manage post-operative recovery.
• Patient Care & Handling:
  Manage triage and medical histories. Employ safe, low-stress restraint techniques to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Client Communication:
  Provide clear updates on patient status and treatment plans. Collaborate closely with the veterinary team to ensure seamless care.
• Medical Management:
  Administer medications and manage prescriptions. Maintain precise medical records, including controlled drug logs and shift handoffs.
• Team Coordination:
  Support hospital operations through peer training, departmental floating, and participating in on-call rotations.

• Having full-time availability
• Must have current state certification
• Exceptional animal handling skills with the ability to work safely with pets of all temperaments
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medical procedures, laboratory techniques, and pharmaceutical calculations
• Confidence with anesthesia monitoring, dental cleanings, and radiography
• Proficiency with venipuncture including IV catheter placement and blood draws
• Experience with medication administration (PO, SQ, IM, IV) and vaccine administration
• Deep knowledge of prescription medications to effectively instruct clients with home care instructions
• Excellent attention to detail in monitoring patients and maintaining medical records
• Effective communication skills with team members and clients

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CVT, LVT, or RVT certification required
• 3+ years of experience in an animal hospital
• Confidence with anesthesia monitoring and assisting in surgical procedures including dentals

• Competitive Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
