We are well-established, non-emergency veterinary practice in Yuma, Arizona seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. This position focuses primarily on preventative care, routine appointments, and surgical support in a calm, organized environment- no after-hours emergencies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist DVM with routine surgeries (spays, neuters, dentals, mass removals)
- Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Obtain and process lab samples (blood, urine, fecal)
- Take and interpret vital signs and patient histories
- Place IV catheters, administer medications, and assist with radiology
- Educate clients on preventive care and post-operative instructions
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Support hospital cleanliness and patient safety
- Current Certified/Licensed/Registered Veterinary Technician in Arizona
- Strong anesthesia and surgical assisting skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills and client service skills
- Motivated self-starter who takes initiative without constant direction.
