Certified Veterinary Technician; CVT

We are well-established, non-emergency veterinary practice in Yuma, Arizona seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. This position focuses primarily on preventative care, routine appointments, and surgical support in a calm, organized environment- no after-hours emergencies.

• Assist DVM with routine surgeries (spays, neuters, dentals, mass removals)
• Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Obtain and process lab samples (blood, urine, fecal)
• Take and interpret vital signs and patient histories
• Place IV catheters, administer medications, and assist with radiology
• Educate clients on preventive care and post-operative instructions
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Support hospital cleanliness and patient safety

• Current Certified/Licensed/Registered Veterinary Technician in Arizona
• Strong anesthesia and surgical assisting skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills and client service skills
• Motivated self-starter who takes initiative without constant direction.
