Join Our Team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner in General Medicine - Arizona

We are looking for high-quality, professional candidates to fill the role of Locum Nurse Practitioner in General Medicine, offering meaningful contributions to veterans' health care while enjoying competitive compensation and flexible schedules. Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Arizona
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general medicine or related fields
- Strong assessment and interview skills focused on non-treatment, compensation, and pension examinations
- Ability to perform physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Knowledge of veterans' health requirements and experience with compensation and pension exams preferred
Skills:
- Prior experience with VA or government compliance standards
- Familiarity with the assessment procedures for Separation Health Assessments
- Certification in relevant medical specialties (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine)
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (BSN/MSN)
- Valid and active Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona
- At least 2 years of clinical experience, ideally in general medicine or veteran care settings
- Candidates must reside within the specified radius of their assigned location(s)
- Availability for 4-hour half-day or full-day shifts (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to undergo quick credentialing and onboarding process
- Must have own office location if assigned to provider-owned practice sites
- Travel reimbursement included where applicable
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities; focus on assessment, examinations, and reporting
