Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine AZ

As a Nurse Practitioner specializing in General Medicine, you will play a crucial role in conducting interview-based evaluations and physical assessments to support our nation's Veterans. What You Will Bring:

Current Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona
Proven experience in general medicine or related fields such as family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery
Strong assessment skills, including range of motion testing and muscle strength evaluation
Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to conduct non-treatment, interview-based exams efficiently and professionally

Nice to Have:

Previous experience with Compensation & Pension exams or military veteran assessments
Knowledge of VA or government healthcare protocols
Certification in specific assessments or evaluations relevant to veteran health

Preferred Education & Experience:

Master's degree or higher in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in general medicine or related specialties
Prior experience in assessment or evaluation roles is advantageous

Additional Requirements:

Located within Arizona, with a valid driver's license
Own office space (if applying as an own-office provider) or ability to travel locally to designated sites within specified radius
Ability to begin work on December 31, 2025
Willingness to work PRN, as needed, on a flexible schedule (days) with 4-hour or 8-hour shifts
Engagement in required assessments with no prescribing or treatment involved
