Desktop Support Technician I | Nights

Yuma, AZ 85364, United States. Position type:
Full Time. Shift: Nights. Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 hourly.
Summary:
The Desktop Support Technician I supports the hardware and software needs of the organization; acts as a level 2 escalation point for the service desk. The Technician assists other departments in the implementation of hardware, provides troubleshooting assistance, and participates in the IT Concierge support system.
- Performs IT Concierge Support duties including “rounding” hospital floors to address issues immediately.
- Works assigned tickets from the Desktop Support Lead and proactively identifies additional issues.
- Performs break/fix on physical hardware, replacing or repairing in a timely manner.
- Maintains functionality of PCs (excluding vendor‑owned systems).
- Imaging and repairing computers with Windows OS, handling incidents, service requests, and updates.
- Assists with clinic setups, ensuring scanners and Imprivata function correctly.
- Assists in setting up hardware for conference rooms.
- Orders hardware and software.
- Understands business processes and best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- 2+ years related experience.
- HS Diploma or GED.
- CompTIA A+ Certified, ITIL Certification, or related field.
- 3+ years of IT Technical Support experience.
