• Facilitate a positive patient experience through friendly coordination and advocacy in reception, pre-registration, registration, scheduling, and other interactions during the patient stay.
• Identify patients, collect patient demographics, and verify insurance eligibility.
• Provide financial counseling, cashiering, and advocacy for governmental programs.
• Coordinate with patient, family, and outside agencies to assist in Medicaid, AHCCCS, Marketplace, and YRMC Financial Assistance.
• Maintain assigned work queues related to Patient Access and the Revenue Cycle.
• Schedule and transcribe patient appointments and procedures; obtain required admission information.
• Collect registration paperwork, enter data accurately, and ensure proper signatures.
• Promote accurate billing information and verify insurance details.
• Conduct financial counseling and collection, including charity care assistance and payment planning.
• Perform insurance verification, authorization, and pre‑authorization processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Arizona fingerprint clearance.
• High‑school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of related experience.
