Salary Range: $20.95 - $31.43 per hour
Responsibilities- Provides treatment to patients using therapeutic exercises and activities under direct supervision of the therapist.
- Aids therapists in performing patient evaluations, treatments, and tests.
- Participates in patient chart audits and gathers data for reports as requested by the therapist or department director.
- Repairs and cleans department equipment and maintains the treatment space according to patient safety and infection control standards.
- Assists in the documentation of patient treatments, and progress, and regularly informs the therapist of patient status.
- Coordinates and communicates with other support staff, therapy assistants, and therapists to ensure continuity of treatment and to maximize department efficiencies.
- Enhance professional growth and development of self and others through participation in educational programs, continuing education, and team meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma required.
- 1+ years related experience in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology preferred.
- BLS (AHA) required.
