Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates.

Min = $27.89
Mid = $34.86
Max = $41.83

The Occupational Therapy Assistant aids the Occupational Therapist in providing occupational therapy treatments. The Occupational Therapy Assistant may, in accordance with state laws, assist in development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, direct activity programs, and document the progress of treatments.

Provides treatment to patients using therapeutic exercises and activities to improve or maintain strength, range of motion, and fine‑motor coordination and patients in adapted techniques and the use of adaptive equipment for daily living and trains patients in the use of prosthetic devices as directed by the Occupational Therapist.

Provides training on therapeutic programs to patient and family members as directed by the Occupational Therapist.

Documents patient treatments, and progress, and regularly informs the Occupational Therapist of patient status.

Coordinates and communicates with support staff to ensure continuity of treatment and maximize department efficiencies.

Enhance professional growth and development of self and others through participation in educational programs, continuing education, and team meetings.

Other duties as assigned.

• HS Equivalent Diploma
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program
• 1+ years related experience in Occupational Therapy Preferred
• Must have a valid license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in State of Arizona (OTA)
• BLS (AHA)
