  • Min = $56,921.71
  • Mid = $71,152.14
  • Max = $85,382.56

Summary:

The Training & Development Specialist is responsible for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning and development programs that support employee readiness, leadership capability, and workforce performance across the organization. Reporting to the Manager of Training & Development, this role partners with leaders and subject matter experts to design scalable learning solutions aligned with the organization’s leadership framework and operational priorities.

The Specialist blends instructional design expertise with strong facilitation skills and data-informed evaluation practices to deliver high-quality learning experiences that strengthen performance and support organizational growth. This role operates with independence in program design and delivery while aligning closely with established standards, governance, and strategic direction set by the Manager and Director of Training & Development.

Responsibilities
  • Design & Delivery: Conduct targeted training needs analyses in partnership with leaders to identify skill gaps and recommend aligned learning solutions. Design and deliver instructor-led, virtual, e-learning, microlearning, and job-based resources using established instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE) and adult learning principles. Develop structured, role-based learning paths aligned with the organization’s leadership framework and workforce development priorities. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and consistency with organizational standards.

    Execute customized team learning engagements under the direction of the Manager of Training & Development
  • Onboarding & New Hire Integration: Lead and continuously improve new employee orientation in alignment with organizational culture and readiness goals. Develop and deliver train-the-trainer programs to ensure consistency and quality among internal presenters. Monitor onboarding feedback and recommend adjustments to enhance the new hire experience.
  • Employee & Leadership Development: Design and facilitate leadership development programming for supervisors, managers, and emerging leaders. Deliver new leader onboarding experiences and leadership round tables. Support enterprise leadership development initiatives under the guidance of the Manager and Director of Training & Development
  • Learning Capability Support: Provide team members with tools and resources to reinforce learning and development outside the classroom. Offer skill-based coaching related to training implementation, feedback delivery, and development planning.
  • Content Governance & Learning Tools: Develop and maintain facilitator guides, course materials, and learning assets with clear version control. Contribute to the organization’s learning content repository and resource library. Ensure learning materials align with established quality and instructional standards
  • Continuous Improvement: Collect and analyze participant feedback and learning data to assess program effectiveness. Support the development of learning metrics and dashboards in partnership with the Manager of Training & Development. Recommend improvements to enhance learning impact and participant experience.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years of experience in instructional design, facilitation, leadership development, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering learning programs across multiple modalities
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
