American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring at least one year of experience and a current OK or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital-based Emergency Department setting
- Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, three days per week
- Care for a diverse patient population with a range of acuity from simple to complex cases
- Responsible for delivering competent nursing care, administering medications, and responding to changes in patients’ conditions
- Participate in minor diagnostic procedures and assist physicians as needed
- Collaborate with families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
- Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate
- Strict 50-mile radius rule – local candidates are not eligible for travel positions
- Active OK or compact (eNLC) RN license required
- Minimum of one year of recent RN experience in an acute care setting
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
