Overview

Cook role at Panda Restaurant Group. Panda Cook associates are leaders of the team and the heart of the kitchen. You are responsible for creating food with passion, service with heart and ambiance with pride.

• Support in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for our guests.
• Prepare all dishes to meet company recipes and standards.
• Guide Kitchen Team and assist with their training.
• Perform Back of House responsibilities.

• Some high school
• Preference for some Operations experience
• Food Safety:
  Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification, acquired at applicant’s own expense

• Pay range: $26 per hour - $29 per hour

Counter areas are hot with steam from steam tables and food vapors. Workspace is restricted; employees are generally expected to stand for long periods. You may need to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for up to four hours, and reach across countertops up to 36 inches. Kitchens are hot and noisy; storage space is limited. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, adapt to changing priorities, and manage conflicts/difficult situations is required.
