For veterinarians who love surgery, value mentorship, and want to practice high-quality medicine in a genuinely supportive environment, this is a standout opportunity.
The practice is in the final stages of completing a major renovation and expansion, transforming the hospital into a 16-exam-room, state-of-the-art facility designed to support advanced medicine, collaboration, and long-term growth.
The hospital operates as a full-service general practice with urgent and emergency capability, filling a vital community need where no dedicated ER exists nearby. You’ll be joining a 9-doctor team made up of a mix of experienced clinicians and newer graduates, supported by an excellent staff-to-doctor ratio and live scribes, allowing you to focus on medicine, not paperwork.
This is a hospital that truly invests in its people. New graduates benefit from a structured, six-month mentorship program tailored to individual confidence and skill level. Several former associates have gone on to pursue residencies and academic careers, highlighting the strength of the teaching environment.
With two surgical suites having the capacity to perform 4 surgeries simultaneously, a dedicated dental suite, multiple ICU areas, and advanced diagnostics (including ultrasound, digital radiography, laser therapy, and a full in-house IDEXX lab), this is an excellent setting for veterinarians who enjoy a diverse caseload and want room to grow clinically, particularly in surgery and urgent care.
They’re offering a flexible work-life balance and schedule to suit your preferences. If you’re a newly graduated DVM on their 6-month mentorship program, you would be expected to work 5 x 8 hour shifts per week with a view to dropping to 4 days following this. The clinic ensure consecutive days off due to their current staffing preferences for flexible shift patterns.
