- Education Code §87408.6 states that no person shall be initially employed by a community college district in an academic or classified position unless the person has submitted to an examination within the past sixty (60) days to determine that he/she/they is free of active tuberculosis.
- As a condition of employment, the position you are applying for will require that you provide fingerprints to the local police department. The fees charged by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI for the fingerprint report are the employee’s responsibility.
- Fingerprint clearance must be received prior to the employee’s first day on the job.

Part Time - Spanish Instructor
Location:
Woodland Community College - position assigned to the Colusa County Campus in Williams, CA
- Develop and deliver instructional lectures for Spanish courses up to 10 hours/week
- Organize and teach all levels of Spanish classes
- Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning;
- Teach day, evening, and/or weekend teaching assignments, which may include distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses;
- Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester;
- Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired;
- Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students
REQUIRED DUTIES:
- Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s in the language taught OR
- Bachelor’s in the language taught
- AND Master’s in Linguistics OR
- The equivalent:
- Preference may be given to candidates with life or teaching experience which would demonstrate the clear ability to teach Spanish to community college students.
Range/Step Class I - VII (Based on degree and teaching experience).
