Job Title: Part Time – Humanities Instructor
BASIC FUNCTION- Develop and deliver instructional lectures for Humanities courses up to 10 hours/week.
- Organize and teach all levels of Humanities classes.
- Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning.
- Teach day, evening, and/or weekend assignments, which may include distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses.
- Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester.
- Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired.
Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Master’s degree in humanities or an equivalent degree.

Experience in life or teaching that demonstrates a clear ability to teach Humanities to community college students is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSRange/Step Class I – VII (Based on degree and teaching experience).
