This opportunity is for a full-time Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position within an elementary school district in Yuba City, CA. The role focuses on supporting students’ communication and speech development at one school site throughout the contract school year (CSY).
Key Responsibilities- Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering speech and language services to students
- Implement therapy plans and facilitate progress monitoring
- Support individual and small group interventions tailored to student needs
- Document student performance and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to optimize student success
- Valid SLPA credential or license as required by state regulations
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary‑aged children
- Knowledge of speech and language disorders commonly seen in school‑aged populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to follow therapy protocols and adapt to individual student goals
