Position: Para educator (Part-time)

Salary

Salary Range 24.5; $19.57 - $23.81 per hour (5 step increments - per contract: highest placement w/experience is step
3).

Work Year

3.8 hours per day (8:00 a.m. – 11:48 a.m.) / 180 days per year.

Application Process

Applications will be accepted online only. Completed application must include a resume and two letters of recommendation. Attach the required proof documents (college transcripts or paraprofessional exam letter). Do not mail, e-mail or fax documents. Afterwards, administration will review applications and contact selected applicants for interviews. Human Resources is not involved in the application review/interview process. The District reserves the right to waive requirements and qualifications.

Requirements
  • High School diploma (or equivalent) and 48 college units, an associate's or bachelor's degree, or a passing score of 70% in both ELA and Math on the Paraprofessional Exam administered by the Sutter County Superintendent of Schools (970 Klamath Lane, Yuba City, ).
  • You must attach proof of this requirement by either attaching a copy of college transcripts or a copy of the paraprofessional letter showing passing score of 70% in both ELA and Math.
