Maintenance Custodian Associate at Sam's Club

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

The Maintenance Custodian Associate role involves maintaining a well-kept facility, including parking lots, restrooms, and floors, while upholding a positive attitude to ensure a great member experience.

• Maintain safety of the facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines; conduct safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting procedures; handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to procedure; report unsafe situations.
• Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved methods, chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per the Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of chemicals and supplies; rotate and store chemicals properly and place orders to replenish stock when low.
• Provide a positive first and last impression to customers through proactive service and upkeep of facilities.

• Ensure safety and cleanliness through compliance with Company policies and procedures.
• Perform maintenance tasks and respond to facility needs to maintain a welcoming environment for Members and Associates.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and manage supplies to ensure a well-kept facility.

• Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred Qualifications: Listed as optional qualifications as applicable in role postings.
