Position: Staffing Coordinator (Scheduler) - Part Time - St. Joseph's Village

Position

St. Joseph's Village is seeking a Staffing Coordinator (Scheduler) for its community in Ypsilanti, MI. St. Joseph is a member of Trinity Health Senior Communities (THSC), one of the nation’s largest, multi‑institutional Catholic health care delivery systems, with over 40 communities in multiple states.

Position Purpose
  • Responsible for staffing schedule.
  • Monitoring department work hours (including vacation and holiday schedules), personnel, work assignments, etc., to ensure proper workflow and adequate staffing levels comply with state minimum regulations and budgeted hours.
  • Anticipate the needs of residents and families, going “above and beyond” routinely to provide a comfortable environment and home atmosphere.
  • Develop and maintain a good working rapport with department personnel, as well as other departments within the community to assure that administrative services and activities are properly maintained.
  • Ensure that the office is maintained in a clean and safe manner and that necessary equipment and supplies are maintained.
  • Order and manage supplies.
About You
  • Scheduling experience strongly desired.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Previous experience working as a direct care worker with the geriatric population preferred.
