Job Title

1st shift Caregiver at Homestead Healthcare, Kingsley Senior Living Facility, Canton, MI.

We are looking for friendly, caring individuals who will treat our residents like family. As care staff and med tech, you will help residents with daily care and medication administration while promoting their independence and safety. We are committed to promoting from within.

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Passing medication as a primary responsibility along with hands‑on care to each resident.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment, which may include light housekeeping.
• Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Assessing for changes in condition and communicating immediately to the supervisor.
• Administering medications and injections to residents based on medical charts.
• Following schedule and assisting residents with repositioning.
• Documenting medications following procedures.
• Using good judgment in providing client care and safety.
• Assisting other team members with their duties.
• Completing all required documents and charting.
• Answering call lights and assessing residents' needs.
• Obtaining meal trays and assisting with eating.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work every other weekend.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
