Position: Staffing Coordinator (Scheduler) - Part Time - St. Joseph's Village

Overview

St. Joseph's Village is seeking a Staffing Coordinator (Scheduler) for its community in Ypsilanti, MI. Employment Type:

Part time

Shift: Day Shift (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm) Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for staffing schedule
  • Monitoring department work hours (including vacation and holiday schedules), personnel, work assignments, etc., to ensure proper workflow and adequate staffing levels are in compliance with state minimum regulations and budgeted hours
  • Anticipate the needs of residents and families, going “above and beyond” routinely to provide a comfortable environment and home atmosphere.
  • Develop and maintain a good working rapport with department personnel, as well as other departments within the community to assure that administrative services and activities are properly maintained.
  • Ensure that the office is maintained in a clean and safe manner and that necessary equipment and supplies are maintained.
  • Orders and manages supplies.
Qualifications
  • Scheduling experience strongly desired.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous experience working as a direct care worker with the geriatric population preferred.
