Position DescriptionThe Materials AMOS & Regulatory Administrator is directly responsible to the Materials Manager. The Materials AMOS & Regulatory Administrator is responsible for the following:
- Work with the Materials Manager or designee on the setup and testing of the AMOS program.
- Assist the Materials Manager or designee in the development and/or modification of AMOS processes and procedures as they relate to the Materials Department.
- Assist the Materials Manager or designee in the role of AMOS key user.
- Develop AMOS training materials for the Materials Department.
- Provide the necessary training to the Materials Department AMOS end users.
- Continually research and test different ways that AMOS can be utilized by the Materials Department.
- Test the scheduled AMOS updates and determine how these updates affect the Materials Department.
- Relay any AMOS issues that cannot be resolved internally to the AMOS Administrators.
- Coordinate with other AMOS key users in other departments on the testing and setup of AMOS.
- Work with the Nitro Team to ensure outstation and vendor addresses are entered correctly and up to date.
- Review Materials Department affected chapters when company manual (GMM, MIP, etc.) revisions are published.
- Coordinate with Materials Manager on changes needed in current manual revisions.
- Ensure Materials Department is within regulatory compliance of standard operating procedures (SOP’s), included but not limited to; GMM, FAR’s, Advisory Circulars, etc.
High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable. Aviation experience preferred w/ background in navigating and using Inventory Management databases. Microsoft Office experience is required, including Excel, Outlook and Word. Proficient communication skills is a must.
Language SkillsAbility to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to create / write routine reports and correspondence.

Employee will perform duties in a(n) office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers.
