The RED Department at High Scope Educational Research Foundation (High Scope) is seeking a collaborative, reliable, and innovative Early Childhood Specialist to support the development of curriculum, professional learning courses, and products. This position is ideal for a mid‑career practitioner with extensive knowledge of the High Scope approach and curriculum, early childhood research, and best practices for adult learning. While the High Scope team often works remotely, this role requires working in-person at the High Scope campus approximately twice per month and occasional in‑person meetings.

• Develop curriculum, professional learning courses, and instructional materials.
• Conduct professional learning events to pilot developed courses.
• Contribute to High Scope materials and publications, such as articles, podcasts, and social media engagement.
• Represent High Scope at professional conferences and other related early childhood meetings and events, including developing and presenting at conference sessions.
• Mentor and support field consultants.

Required

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of early childhood teaching, including partnering with families.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred

• Master's degree in education or related field.
• Experience using the High Scope approach in a care or classroom setting.
• Certified High Scope Trainer.

The salary range for this position is $55,000‑$65,000, based on qualifications and experience.

Please note that this is a grant funded position through October 1st, 2027, with the possibility of extension based on performance and future funding.
