Ohio Valley Waste Service offers employees the following types of benefits:

• Full time employment plus potential overtime. Employees are paid at an hourly rate plus time and one-half for overtime hours worked.
• Work weeks can vary from 5-8 hour days to 4-10 hour days for the employee’s regular schedule.

All potential employees must successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test and a physical if applicable prior to beginning employment and are subject to ongoing random and other drug testing as required through our policy.

Lower Burrell, PA

• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of assigned vehicle.
• Safely drive and operate a commercial motor vehicle (roll‑off truck) according to the work rules while also abiding by all local, state, and federal laws.
• Drive to the disposal facility and dispose of the load.
• Maintain a courteous and cordial manner with all customers encountered on the route.

• Must possess a Class A CDL.
• Must pass a DOT medical exam and drug screen.
• Must keep both CDL and DOT medical card in good standing.
• Subject to yearly MVRs.
• Must pass a road test with a manual transmission as part of the hiring process.
• Employees must provide their own safety‑approved work boots.
• Uniforms are provided after 120 days of successful employment.

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, lift/carry required.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. is required.
• This job is performed in and out of the truck. Employees are subject to weather elements daily; i.e., heat, sun, rain, snow, wind, etc.
