• Provide security, care and direct supervision of inmates/residents in housing units, at meals, during recreation, on work assignments and during all other phases of activity in a correctional facility.
• Maintain order and security of inmates in the facility.
• Use weapons or force to maintain discipline and order when necessary.
• Work any shift, and be assigned to posts such as armory/key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, visitation, etc.

• High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to complete required training.
• Available to work any hours, any shift.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Veteran status encouraged.
