A nursing opportunity is available in the progressive care/stepdown unit located in Youngstown, OH, focusing on neuro patient care. This 12-hour night shift role offers a chance to provide specialized nursing care on a contract basis, with schedules including every other weekend and every other holiday shifts. The unit manages 32 beds with patient-to-nurse ratios typically ranging from 1:5 to 1:6;

note that pediatric beds are not assigned to travelers. Navy blue scrubs are required as part of the dress code.

Candidates must hold a current RN license, ideally with neuro experience, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Dysrhythmia exam completion is needed, with study guide access provided. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and certifications such as CCRN or PCCN. One year of RN experience is required, with preference given to those with acute care hospital experience and EPIC EHR training.
