We are seeking a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) for a 13-week contract in Youngstown, Ohio. Job Details

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date:
  
  July 28, 2025
• End Date:
  October 27, 2025
• Shift: Day shifts, Monday to Friday, 0630-3p (8 hours) or 0630-5p (10 hours)
• On Call:
  Approximately 10-12 call shifts over a 6-week schedule
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Ohio or covered by compact
• BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac experience, with at least 1-2 years in general nursing
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available)

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment
• Coordinate, provide, and direct patient teaching activities
• Administer medications safely and consistently
• Serve as a point of contact for patient care coordination throughout hospital departments
• Manage nursing care within the OR and coordinate the needs of the surgical team
• Provide preop, intraop, and post-op care, including assessment and discharge instructions
• Anticipate scrub nurse needs and assist with sterile packs and equipment operation
