Overview
A client of Insight Global's is seeking a dependable and versatile Welder to join their fabrication team in Youngstown, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder looking to get their foot in the door with a busy shop that has a steady flow of work and values teamwork, reliability, and long-term commitment. Attendance and dependability are critical to success in this role.
Responsibilities- Perform TIG, MIG, and Stick welding on a variety of projects
- Weld stainless steel materials with precision and quality
- Execute tube welding and structural fabrication work
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and basic layout information
- Perform repair and rework as needed on fabricated components
- Assist with cutting, grinding, fitting, and material preparation as required
- Follow shop safety standards and quality expectations
- Work collaboratively with the fabrication team and shop leadership
- Proven experience with TIG, MIG, and Stick welding
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and basic layout information
- Experience welding stainless steel
- Experience with tube welding and structural fabrication
- Strong attention to safety and quality
