Induction Professional Solutions (IPS) is a division of extrutec GmbH , a global leader in industrial plant systems for the aluminum extrusion industry. On November 1, 2025 extrutec announced a significant expansion in the North American market. Through its subsidiary,
extrutec North America, Inc. , the company has acquired the assets of Induction Professionals, LLC , a highly respected provider of induction heating and melting equipment.
This acquisition led to the formation of a new company,
Induction Professional Solutions (IPS). IPS will focus on providing advanced induction heating and melting systems. Building on the expertise and customer relationships of Induction Professionals, the new entity will also provide comprehensive service, repair, and upgrade solutions to customers across the region.
Induction Professional Solutions (IPS) will operate as the North American counterpart to extrutec's German subsidiary,
TCT Induktionstechnik GmbH , leveraging a shared commitment to advanced induction technology and customer support.

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and driven leader to join our team as a General Manager
. This role offers the opportunity to develop, grow, and make a meaningful impact within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong supervisory background—such as a Team or Group Lead role—and a proven track record of success in manufacturing operations, preferably within metal manufacturing.
This position requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with the ability to effectively manage people, processes, and production goals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Production & Operations- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules and performance targets are met
- Manage resources, materials, processes, and equipment to maximize efficiency
- Monitor workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing processes and recommending enhancements
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies
- Lead, motivate, and develop manufacturing team members
- Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and safety‑focused work environment
- Promote dependability, time management, attention to detail, and organizational excellence
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Provide customers with updates on project status and timelines
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to support operational objectives
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
- High school diploma required
- 8–10 years of relevant industry or supervisory/management experience
- Proven experience as a Team/Group Lead or in a similar leadership role
- Manufacturing leadership experience in a metal manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
- Professional appearance, attitude, and strong work ethic
