How You’ll ContributeThe housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and pleasing environment for patients, staff and guests. Duties include dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing and removing trash. Assures that toiletry and linen needs are replenished at all times. Inventories and orders cleaning supplies and equipment. Ensures, in conjunction with the plant operations department, a safe and risk‑free environment within OSHA regulations and hospital standards.

- Performs routine cleaning tasks of patient rooms, offices, and public areas while ensuring a safe and risk‑preventative environment within OSHA regulations.
- Ensures that adequate linens are kept in the hospital.
- Reports any situations that may affect health and well‑being of patients or employees.
- Assures that supply closets are kept clean and orderly.
- Is responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials in accordance with OSHA.

- Education:
High school diploma, GED or combination of education and relevant work experience preferred. - Experience:
Previous housekeeping in a hospital setting preferred.
