Jewish Family & Community Services is seeking an experienced LPCC or LISW for a part‑time mental health counselor position. Office space is provided. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Jewish Family & Community Services is a non‑profit social services agency offering programs including guardian ships, counseling and case management. The Mental Health Counselor will support the daily operations of the organization and work in accordance with policy, guidelines, procedures, government regulations, and health insurance requirements to ensure the highest degree of care is provided. All operations, decisions and planning shall reflect the philosophy of the Jewish Family & Community Services Mission Statement.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Offer counseling sessions to clients addressing a range of mental health concerns.
- Perform comprehensive mental health assessments and create a personalized treatment plan.
- Ensure a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for clients from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and religious backgrounds.
- Adhere to agency record‑keeping standards, ensuring all documentation is timely, detailed and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Uphold confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant privacy laws at all times.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.

Must hold a current Ohio LPCC or LISW license. Ability to work with all ages and backgrounds. Candidates must pass FBI/BCI background check and drug testing.
