Professional Surveyor - Topographic/Boundary Surveys, Right of Way Plans - Youngstown, OH - JOB 26-00001
Salary Range: $80K - $100K Permanent Position with Benefits.
A long-standing surveying and engineering company is seeking to hire a Professional Surveyor to perform field and office duties to complete surveying and mapping projects throughout Ohio.
REQUIREMENTS
- Registration as an Ohio Professional Surveyor.
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team/crew.
- Experience with ODOT Surveying and Mapping Specifications.
- Prequalification as an ODOT Right of Way Designer and/or Reviewer.
- Ability to prepare, review, adhere to project budgets, schedules.
- Seeking candidates that have good organizational & time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
- Experience with one or all: GNSS, Robotic Total Stations, Terrestrial Scanners, data collectors, automatic levels, drones.
- Proper care, maintenance, calibration of field equipment.
- Use of computer systems and software including: MS Office, Word, Excel, Trimble Business Center, Open Roads Designer. (Civil 3D optional).
- Experience researching property, road records, chain of title, easements.
- Ability to determine alignments and property boundaries by resolving field evidence and record documents.
- Preparation of legal descriptions, closure reports.
- Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving history.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
