Teaches part-time the course STEM 1551 - STEM Careers.
The course is an introduction to the career process for career exploration, development, and research available for STEM freshman and sophomore students. Assist students with focusing on creating a foundation for all good career planning. Aid students with understanding the various majors in STEM, career researching, making good career decisions, and understanding the world of work. Focus on having students develop items such as resumes, cover letters, reference pages and other items that will help them be successful in their job search and career.
Position Information
Work Schedule:
Typically, Monday through Friday. Teaching assignments may be remote or at various locations.
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

Qualifications and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
At least a master's degree in education, higher education, counseling, STEM, or related field required; experience in teaching courses at college/university level and/or workshops/seminars/training courses level required; must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with students at the college/university level. Knowledge/experience of technology as used in teaching.
