Schedule:

Part time. The Early Learning Center is seeking a support staff member/floater to assist with closing duties at the center, as well as covering breaks, request offs, and vacations. This role would be responsible for all infants and toddlers.

• Assist teachers in the classroom environment ensuring ratios are maintained. Observe students to ensure safety according to DCY licensure guidelines.
• Assist with bathroom breaks, outdoor activities, and behavior management.
• Complete daily closing duties including laundry, dishes, and classroom clean up.
• Coordinate with the Lead Teacher to continue planned activities during afternoon hours.
• Provide positive and detailed communication to parents/guardians during pick up.
• Communicate and cooperate with colleagues and families as part of the Early Learning team, including attending staff meetings as needed.
• Adhere to all JCC and departmental policies, while contributing to its mission, vision and core values.
• Complete all additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
