Payroll Clerk

Description

We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Clerk to join our team in Youngstown, Ohio. The ideal candidate will handle full-cycle payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely payments for employees. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a willingness to contribute to other areas as needed during peak seasons.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and execute full-cycle payroll processes for a workforce of 101-500 employees.

- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, including garnishments and deductions.

- Process employee payments accurately and on schedule.

- Collaborate with other departments during peak seasons, such as supporting warehouse operations.

- Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries or discrepancies efficiently.

- Maintain up-to-date records of employee payroll data and documentation.

- Assist with overtime payroll processing during busy periods.

- Perform audits to verify payroll accuracy and compliance.

- Provide support in implementing payroll system updates or improvements.

Requirements - Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing.

- Familiarity with payroll regulations, including garnishments and deductions.

- Ability to manage payroll for medium-sized teams (101-500 employees).

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons.

- Capacity to adapt and assist in other departments, especially during busy periods.

- Proficiency in payroll software and systems.

- Excellent communication skills for addressing employee payroll concerns.
