Key Accountabilities
Perform assigned lead activities.Operate equipment and technology tools throughout the production facility, backfilling prior areas as needed, utilizing a broad understanding of varied and multi-dimensional processes to perform required dutiesSupport others in learning operating procedures, provide input to peers and recommend changes to ensure clarity and effectiveness of guidance, including procedure documentationPerform maintenance and lead troubleshooting efforts throughout the facility, making adjustments or instructing others necessaryEnsure recording of production and inventory activities by the team is entered into computerized systemsOperate mobile powered equipment ( forklift, skid loader)Understand and ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures, maintain a safe and clean work environment and control work pace and progress on assigned equipment and processes, requiring awareness of links with other process areasOther duties as assignedQualifications
Required Qualifications:
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in CanadaCargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years oldAbility to perform physical job duties which may include bending, may be required to lift up to 50lbs occasionally, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Basic use of a computerMust be able to work in various weather, industrial and agricultural settingsAbility to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)May require a valid Canadian full class 5 driver’s licence in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during your employmentPreferred Qualifications:
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with short noticeBasic mechanical aptitudeMinimum 3 years of experience in a Grain and/or Crop Inputs Production PlantConsidered candidates will receive a phone call from a (204) area code.
