Continuing - 1.0 FTE

The successful applicant will have the following knowledge, skills, abilities and educational background:

• Must hold or be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate
• Previous successful school administration experience considered an asset.
• Ability to work co-operatively with a strong school leadership team when:
• Setting Direction
• Creating a Learning Organization
• Developing People
• Leading the Instructional Program
• A Reflective Practitioner
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A high degree of emotional intelligence combined with a growth mindset
• Demonstrated ability to engage and involve a variety of stakeholder groups in the life of a school
• Excellent leadership capacity with the ability to deliver measurable outcomes aligned with GSSD Strategic Plan
• Commitment to the Indigenous culture and ancestry
• An innovative approach to education

Applicants not currently working for GSSD will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record and vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
