Position: Sales Executive - North Region (hybrid travel to Scotland)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive to join Splendid Hospitality Group
, focusing on driving growth across our hotels in the North Region.

Location:

North Region (York / Leeds area) with travel to Edinburgh

You’ll be working closely with our Director of Sales (North) to uncover opportunities, expand our client base, and strengthen relationships across Business Transient, Business Group, and Leisure Group segments.

The Role

As Sales Executive, you’ll play a vital part in expanding our reach and generating revenue growth.

Your work will be varied and hands‑on, including:

  • Researching and identifying new business opportunities
  • Generating leads through networking, outreach, and cold calls
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships across sectors (corporate, travel management, leisure, sports, public sector & more)
  • Promoting Splendid Hospitality Group hotels and driving cross‑sell across our UK portfolio
  • Staying on top of industry and competitor trends to identify new opportunities
  • Meeting sales targets and reporting performance via Salesforce

The role will involve travel between York and Scotland supporting Indigo York, Indigo Edinburgh, Ibis York, Holiday Inn Express York and Holiday Inn Express Glenrothes.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Proactive, naturally inquisitive, and confident speaking to new people
  • Motivated by hitting (and exceeding) goals and sales targets
  • A strong relationship builder who enjoys connecting with people from scratch
  • Comfortable picking up the phone, networking, and presenting
  • A confident communicator and team player with a passion for hospitality
  • Willing to travel between clients and hotels

✨ Bonus points if you have hotel sales experience, knowledge of Salesforce, or experience presenting to clients.
