Job Overview
Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Concrete Mixer Driver to join their team based in Elvington near York. This role involves the safe delivery of ready-mix concrete to construction sites across the local area, ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a concrete mixer vehicle in line with company and legal requirements
Deliver ready-mix concrete to various construction sites
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs
Ensure correct concrete discharge procedures on site
Provide a professional and courteous service to customers and site personnel
Adhere to health & safety regulations at all times Requirements
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category
C) licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Previous experience driving a concrete mixer (preferred but not essential)
Good knowledge of local road networks
Strong understanding of health & safety practices
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
