My client, a well-established, multi-office Yorkshire law firm is seeking a Probate Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its York office.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role involves managing a varied private client caseload, including Wills, Powers of Attorney and Probate matters, from initial instruction through to completion. You will handle new client enquiries, support other fee earners within the department, and take responsibility for cost drafting, billing and general file management, while maintaining up-to-date legal knowledge.The
Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will provide a high standard of professional and friendly client care, working accurately and efficiently in line with established procedures. You will be able to communicate complex legal issues clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally, and demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail and confident IT ability. The role requires someone who can manage competing deadlines, work well under pressure, and operate both independently and as part of a return, the firm offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and experienced team, genuine career development prospects, and the benefits of employee ownership, including participation in a profit-share scheme.

A flexible, proactive approach is required, including a willingness to travel to nearby offices when needed. A full UK driving licence is essential.
