Here at No. 1 York by Guest House, we're a small but stylish, family‑run boutique hotel, and we're looking for a Housekeeper who is an equal parts perfectionist, team player, and behind‑the‑scenes superstar.

Please note, this is a part‑time role (20 hours per week).

• Making beds so crisp they could star in a historical drama.
• Keeping guest rooms and public areas spotless, serene, and Instagram‑ready.
• Replenishing amenities with flair and precision.
• Reporting maintenance issues before they become mysteries.
• Working closely with the front desk and housekeeping team to ensure every guest feels like royalty.

• Previous housekeeping experience (but a great attitude goes a long way).
• An eye for detail and a love for order.
• Someone who takes pride in their work and isn't afraid of a little elbow grease.
• A sense of humour and a love for York's rich history and quirky cham.
• Reliability, discretion, and a dash of sparkle.
