This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly entrepreneurial and fast-growing business, where you will have a meaningful impact on its continued success. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a central role in delivering management accounts, financial planning, reporting, and analysis. You will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and full regulatory compliance.
Your financial expertise will be instrumental in supporting strategic decision-making and maintaining the organisation's financial stability.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis. Oversee sales and purchase ledger activities, ensuring efficient and well-controlled processes. Manage cash flow forecasting and budgeting to support ongoing financial health. Lead month-end and year-end close processes. Deliver clear financial insights to senior management to inform growth and strategic decisions. Ensure compliance with internal controls, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners. Identify and implement process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency. Skills/ Experience Required ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (desirable). Strong experience in management accounting and cash flow forecasting. Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail. Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling experience (advantageous). Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
