Position: Dental Practice Manager (Permanent)
Dental Practice Manager – York, North Yorkshire – Full Time

M  Dental are currently assisting an independent dental practice in York, North Yorkshire to recruit a Dental Practice Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Details

* Available to start as soon as possible

* Notice periods will be considered

* Full-time position – 40 hours per week

* Monday to Friday, working hours to be discussed

* One Saturday per month (8:45am – 2:15pm)

* £18 per hour, depending on experience

* Busy independent private practice environment

About the Role

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of dental practice management experience and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice while supporting its continued growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

* Day-to-day operational management of the dental practice

* Ensuring systems, processes, and the team operate efficiently and in line with practice procedures

* Managing staff development and supporting HR duties

* Monitoring practice compliance and maintaining regulatory standards

* Managing KPIs and supporting private revenue growth

* Overseeing marketing initiatives and patient feedback processes

* Stock control and general practice administration

practice accounts and bookkeeping are handled separately and are not part of this role.

Candidate Requirements

* Minimum 1 year of dental practice management experience

* Strong leadership and organisational skills

* Patient-focused with a proactive and self-motivated approach

* Valid DBS certificate

* 4-surgery, computerised practice (Dentally software)

* Treatments include general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, implants, clear aligners, oral surgery, and facial aesthetics
