Westinghouse is looking to hire a long‑term janitorial worker at the Catawba Nuclear Power Station located in York, SC. We are looking for someone who is local to the area as there is no relocation fees, or per diem. In this position you will be responsible for day‑to‑day cleaning and upkeep of buildings and other assigned areas within the facility. Work performance and cleaning shall be at a level that meets established cleaning standards and expectations.
Responsibilities- Clean floors (sweeping, mopping dry & wet, and vacuuming)
- Clean and service facility restrooms
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets, rugs and other floor coverings
- Wash walls and glass
- Dust ledges and countertops
- Remove trash and debris from collection receptacles
- Weed removal around exterior of building and in flower beds
- Notify management of need for repairs
- Must be able to pass a security background check
- Must be able to pass a drug test
