Position: Facilities Technician- HVAC - York Hospital- Day
** General Summary*

** Duties and Responsibilities*

* Essential Functions:

* + The following are essential job accountabilities; HVAC-R

+ Displays a basic understanding for HVAC-R and the operating principles.

+ Able to perform basic inspections, service, and recovery.

+ Has a working knowledge for one or more of the following: boilers, chillers, RTU's, air handlers, cooling towers, CRAC units, Liebert units, split systems, etc.

+ Displays a basic understanding and application for the inspection, service and preventative maintenance of refrigeration equipment including ice machines and refrigerators.

+ Displays a basic understanding of heating hot water and steam systems and can perform entry level repairs and service.

+ Displays a basic understanding for Building Automation Systems (BAS), particularly Siemens and NRG (Honeywell).

+ Refrigerant handling certification helpful.

+ Must be able to perform overtime, work weekends and other shifts when needed.

+ Must be able to perform on-call duties if assigned.

+ Must display good communication skills, problem solving abilities and be a critical thinker.
