You will conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, assist with access control, and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and customer service.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and site visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, work areas, parking areas and perimeter spaces, adjusting for varying site conditions.

+ Control access as assigned by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or credentials, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in points.

+ Document observations, patrol activity, incidents and/or policy violations in written reports and required logs, and communicate relevant updates to supervision.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
