Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab position requiring EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab competencies and EPIC experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab within a hospital-based invasive cardiology unit

• Four Cardiac Cath Labs and two Electrophysiology labs on-site

• Responsibilities include advanced cardiovascular procedures such as complex coronary interventions, VAD/ECMO, TAVR, structural heart and rhythm procedures

• Patient care includes prep, recovery, and support for over 6,000 procedures per year

• Shifts are day (4x10 hours), scheduled between 6 AM and 7 PM

• Weekend shifts required as needed

• May be required to stay late until all patients are cared for

• Floating to other areas may be required

• No holiday shift requirement

• No on-call requirement

• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off considered per contract

• Tobacco and fragrance-free work environment

• Local candidates within 50 miles considered at a lower rate

• Facility offers a supportive team structure and resources for travel pairs, but matched schedules are not guaranteed

• Two professional supervisory references from the last two years required

• All pre-employment modules must be completed before start date

Requirements

• Active RN license in PA or compact state free of disciplinary actions

• Minimum of 2 years of recent related RN experience

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications from AHA or ARC

• Experience with EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab procedures required

• EPIC EMR experience required

• Ability to complete required pre-start online learning modules

• COVID patient care experience preferred
